Florida Democratic Representative Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick faces serious federal charges and House Ethics violations as of early 2026, alleging she stole $5 million in FEMA funds to finance her 2021-2022 campaigns and personal purchases. The House Ethics Committee found 25 violations, with charges including fraud, money laundering, and campaign finance violations, though she denies the allegations.
Can’t say I am surprised.
Israel doubles down on dumb. Israeli police initially barred Catholic leaders and worshippers from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre for Palm Sunday, citing security risks during the conflict with Iran. Reminder-it was the Christian West that created the modern state of Israel.
Following widespread backlash and diplomatic pressure, Prime Minister Netanyahu reversed the decision, allowing Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa access to hold services.
And speaking of Netanyahu, the interrogation by Israeli officials into corruption charges appears to be, sadly, more of the same: corrupt, compromised politicians taking advantage of their position and power. Get a big bucket of popcorn and “enjoy” the Bibi Files.
And for a follow-up along the same lines, I’d recommend the PBS Frontline investigation, Putin’s Way (2017), which examines Putin’s rise to power (false flags and all). This is a classic IMO.

News this week also announced that a 24k-gold Trump commemorative coin was approved by the US Mint. The President is also insisting that his image appear on a new $1 coin.

Spanish men, 18-34, move hard right, and are fed-up with business as usual.
In Hungary, Viktor Orban is on the ropes for next weeks election. Some polls have him down 10-20 points. This would be a tremendous blow to the right.
In Italy, Trump ally PM Giorgia Meloni says no to the US. Ouch.
In Germany, the “far-right” AfD co-leader, Tino Chrupalla, told a party gathering in east Germany on Saturday that the country should chase an "independent" foreign policy, starting with the removal of American soldiers.
So, for those of us who are still America First, and End Foreign Wars, and No More Endless Wars, and who support peace and G. Washington’s Farewell Address as a guide for Foreign Policy (Avoid foreign entanglements and live at peace with all), maybe, just maybe, it will take the Patriots in the EU to help the MAGA movement here at home.
And finally, does anyone know why we are in Iran? Does anyone know if we won? Are we winning? Are we having negotiations? Just what the hell is going on? Bueller, Bueller, anyone, Bueller?
