Virginia is California: GOP Blown-Away
Youngkin's 100% Responsible for Disaster of the Century, Hands Democrats Super Majority in the House: 64-36.
Called the results of the VA election back in January after watching Youngkin, Sears and Miyares at the Inauguration Rally in Richmond.
It took me all of about 3 minutes to realize the entire GOP ticket would lose statewide; and perhaps never win the state for another 25 years. I also predicted D’s would win the House. And did they ever.
In January, the D’s will control the Va State House 64-36. Virginia is California. I also called two term incumbent Delegate Amanda Batten to lose big time. Frozen, she did nothing...year after year. No risks. No press. No action with teeth. Sad.
Big picture--here’s what happened:
1. Glenn Youngkin gave Virginia to the Democrats by pushing (and investing in) “early voting.” Early voting IS the steal, full stop.
2. Glenn Youngkin showed zero leadership: You cannot name one significant thing he accomplished in four years. He refused to fight for our history, social or moral issues, and refused to take any risks at all. “Where’s the beef?”
3. Glenn Youngkin refused to fight fight fight on anything anything anything. He may as well stop going to Iowa. His career is over. He is NOT VP material. He cannot win Virginia, and remember, he really didn’t win Virginia in the first place. He tripped and fell over backwards into a win because the D’s screwed up royally.
4. Winsome trashed the MAGA base, again, and again, and again. Dumb, dumb, dumb. And Trump rightfully refused to endorse her.
Remember: Republicans lose elections because they don’t do anything.
The good news, however, is this: Democrats lose elections because they do too much. And I promise you, the D’s will overreach and wreck the Commonwealth economically, morally, and socially.
Crime will rise, history will be further erased, taxes will increase, housing will become further and further out of reach, and Virginia residents will continue to migrate out of a state that is already showing a net loss of 35,000-45,000 residents annually. My guess is D’s win a state and the number of residents getting out doubles each year over the next four years. We’re seeing this in the Northeast and West Coast.
What is the future hope of the Virginia Republican Party? I believe this rests largely on what Trump does over the next three years. First, Trump must eliminate a shite-ton of federal jobs (Democrat voters) and vastly reduce the size of the mostly woke military (Democrat voters).
But perhaps the biggest thing Trump can do is ending all early and absentee voting, and requiring voter ID nationally. Early voting is how Democrats steal and win elections.
Do that, the GOP will be able to compete in every district in the country.

When you say that early voting is the steal, how do you mean that? I am totally against such a huge early voting window for various reasons and I don’t understand why the Republican Party here in Virginia makes such a huge push for it.
